Sovereign Blue is an all new, original world class rock band from Las Vegas. The group's sound highlights exciting, fresh, British/American style rock 'n' roll filled with fantastic radio hooks, major arena ready anthems, and terrific commercial pop sensibilities. Armed with a treasure trove of brilliant songs, an extraordinary just completed debut album, and a style poised to transform the current musical landscape, this is the modern "American BritRock" for the world of today.
Sovereign Blue's sound is based on a foundation of amazing songwriting, great arrangements, and compelling vocals and musicianship. It features a thrilling musicality seldom heard in today's music scene with songs often reflecting an optimistic, uplifting point of view, and a spirit that leaves listeners in a positive, "feel good" frame of mind. At times inspiring hope, at times ripping at your heart strings, at times reflecting on the tribulations of life and the world around us, or at times just rocking out, their songs run the gamut of thoughts and emotions each of us feel in a powerful human way that will speak to an enormous cross section of music listeners around the globe.
Led by their lead vocalist and songwriter extraordinaire Paul Shire, the group is rounded out by outstanding lead guitarist and backing vocalist Eden, super keyboardist/ backing vocalist Jocelyn Chase, and powerhouse drummer Mark Williams. The band has just finished recording and mastering its eleven track debut album, "Here Comes American BritRock." It features songs that are not only immediately engaging, but ideally suited to become chart toppers on a variety of radio formats such as mainstream rock, active rock and modern rock, contemporary pop hit radio, and even adult contemporary. It also includes some remarkable deep cuts, (there is no filler), making it from beginning to end, one of the best new albums of any kind by any artist to come along in years.
